Ana Kapaj

Ms. Ana Kapaj was born on June 9, 1978, in the city of Tirana.

She has 23 years of experience in the university academic field.

Since September 2001, she holds the position of lecturer at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness.

She completed his studies at the Agricultural University of Tirana, for “Agribusiness Management” at the Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness with excellent results. She obtained the title “Master of Science”, for “Management in Agricultural Sciences” at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart/Germany. She defended the title of “Doctor of Science”, in “Economics and Agribusiness” in 2008. In 2013-2014, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart/Germany.

Since 2012, she holds the title of Associate Professor, and in 2020 she won the title of Professor. From 2016 to 2020, she was part of the Academic Senate of the Agricultural University of Tirana. From 2013 to 2019, she was the Head of the Teaching Research Group of Statistics-Econometrics. Her areas of interest in the teaching and research-scientific aspect are, Quantitative analysis methods, Data processing and analysis, Management, Consumer behavior, etc.

She has worked in a number of international projects as a coordinator and expert. Its publishing activity includes about 40 scientific articles, of which 20 are indexed in Scopus, as well as many national and international conferences. She is the author of several university and international books. Since 2001, she has been a lecturer for the modules Statistics, Business Statistics, Basics of Econometrics and Econometrics, at the Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness, at the Agricultural University of Tirana.

Throughout her academic career, she has been an invited lecturer at several European universities. Since 2016, she has been engaged as an expert for Higher Education, for institutional accreditation and that of study programs, of Higher Education Institutions at the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ASCAL).
