Workshop on strengthening the implementation arrangements of the project: “STRENGTHENING SUPERVISION CAPACITITES OF THE AFSA”

An workshop was organized on 6-8 July 2017, in order to increase collaboration among the actors involved in the implementation of the SECO financed project “Strengthening supervision capacities of the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority” 

The aim of this activity was to discuss the progress done and assess the results achieved up to this phase of project. During the event, it was introduced a summary of Phase 1 of the project, reviewing the progress done and next steps to be taken for Phases 2 and 3. This helped AFSA to coordinate internally, in order to manage their workload and engage in project activities.  

Also, AFSA and CFCU discussed on issues relating to project monitoring, reporting and coordination between stakeholders. During the assessment of the results of the project activities, it was done the comparison between planned and achieved results. Consequently, both entities will overcome the difficulties and will embrace new challenges.
